Beautiful Galápagos

We are in the beautiful Galápagos Islands, still in Ecuador, after almost a full day of travelling. It's not easy getting here as there is a 1 hour traffic jam out of Quito, a necessary 3 hour wait process through the airport, a 2 hour flight, a 10 minute bus, a 1minute ferry (don't ask why they just don't put a bridge there), then another 45 bus ride into the port of Ayora.
The islands can remind you a bit of Hawaii with Barbados and Cuba thrown together. We're on the island of Santa Cruz and heading out to Darwin's research centre. The wildlife is stunning!
Our new Iguana friends on the docks- they're everywhere and about the size of a cat (sorry folks, not the same I know).
And there are a lot of Pelicans where we are staying.
